Surviving the Long Wars: Creative Rebellion at the Ends of Empire – Book Release & Exhibition Closing
The STLW organizing committee is excited to announce the release of Surviving the Long Wars: Creative Rebellion at the Ends of Empire with the Chicago-based publisher BRIDGE Books. We will be hosting a book release in conjunction with the closing of the Transformative Threads exhibition at the Chicago Cultural Center. Masks required and available on site.

Movies in the Lot: Sada
Former participants of Sada will showcase video works reflecting on their practice as Iraqi artists, their work with Sada, and where they are today. Artists Ali Eyal and Bassim Al Shaker with co-organizer Aaron Hughes will lead a pre-screening discussion about SADA and the SURVIVING THE LONG WARS: Unlikely Entanglements exhibition.
